The Safety Supervision System SAFE IR2 is part of the evacuating and charging system SARA-MAX-F, designed to monitor safety related functions of defined Ex classified production area. This system is consisting of a control system together with gas measuring heads and Dp sensors for monitoring the gas emissions and the venting system.
The special features of this comprehensive system are flexibility, easy installation and operation. Because the system is designed according to German TÜV regulations, the installation and approval by the local authorities are very cost effective.

Process
In the standard version the following safety related functions are monitored:
- Operation of the venting system. In case of inadequate ventilation,
a fault indication is activated
- Gas concentration in the air.
In case the gas concentration is 15% compared to the Lower Explosion
Level (LEL), a fault indication is activated; if the gas concentration is
over 35% related to the LEL, the alarm function is activated
